Hello,

My name is Jason Buch.  I am the Physical Education Teacher at SHPA-LS and I teach at least 2 sections of each grade level K-5.  This is my fourth year at SHPA-LS and I couldn't be happier.

I was born and raised in Wausau, WI.  I was captain of the Varsity Basketball and Baseball team at Wausau West High School.  I graduated from Winona State University in 2007 with a Major in Physical Education K-12 and a Minor in Coaching.  I also have a Licensure for Developmental/Adaptive Physical Education PreK-12.

I previously taught at Hiawatha Leadership Academy-Morris Park in South Minneapolis for five years before joining SHPA.

I am a resident of Bloomington and live a few miles away from the school.  I am joined by my wife Courtney, son Owen, daughter Ava, and Ruger our Chocolate Lab.  I am proud to be teaching at a local Elementary School.  I enjoy seeing students and families from the community while I am out running errands!

I firmly believe in our school's mission and I am grateful to be able to teach your son or daughter all about the importance of life long physical fitness.

My name is Brody Thomas and this is my second year teaching Physical Education here at Seven Hills Preparatory Academy. I teach half of the classes ranging from k-5. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be here and have the opportunity to work with the students, staff, and parents.

I was born and raised in Hopkins, MN.  Growing up I was always involved in some kind of sport because I loved being active and working as a team to achieve one common goal. After high school, I attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where I got my degree in Physical Education K-12.

I am very excited to share my passion of being active and sports with my students. In my class, the students will experience many different sports and activities. I want my students to take what they learn in my class and apply it to their lives outside of school. I want each student to find an activity they can use for the rest of their life to stay active and healthy.
